The largest class in Fairfield’s history, the Class of 2022 will be welcomed with with a host of Move-In Day festivities.

On Sunday, September 2, Fairfield University will welcome transfer students and the Class of 2022 -- its largest-ever group of incoming first-year students -- to Stag Country.

As part of Fall Welcome, students will move into residence halls from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and enjoy QuadFest -- an event featuring a barbeque, treats from local vendor Saugatuck Sweets, music and live coverage by Fairfield's radio station WVOF, a photo booth, and a parent engagement tent. A family Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m., and a “Once a Stag Always a Stag” pep rally and class photo will take place before students and their families convene for a blessing and the President’s Send-Off Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. in the Field House of the Leslie C. Quick, Jr. Recreation Complex. Detailed schedules and other information can be found at fairfield.edu/fallwelcome .

Move-In Day will be featured prominently on the University’s social media accounts. On the big day, September 2, watch the @FairfieldU Instagram and Snapchat stories for a look at the day through the eyes of Fairfield students.

Fairfield’s social media coverage of the day will allow everyone to join in the celebration of the new school year. Students, alumni, family, and friends of the University can show their support for the incoming Class of 2022 by posting with #Stags22, and welcome back all returning students by posting with #StagsComeHome on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
