Fairfield Men’s Basketball and Men’s Lacrosse will be in action for a pair of special events

The Fairfield Stags will be in action for two special events this Saturday, Jan. 27. Fairfield Men’s Basketball heads to Long Island and the Nassau Coliseum, while Fairfield Men’s Lacrosse will host a pair of scrimmages on campus on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium.

Head Coach Sydney Johnson will lead Fairfield Men’s Basketball into NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, as the opening game of a MAAC Tripleheader against in-state foe Quinnipiac at 1 p.m. After the Stags and Bobcats tangle in the first-ever MAAC game played at the historic Nassau Coliseum, the Saturday slate will feature Marist vs. Monmouth at 4 p.m. and Iona vs. Manhattan at 7 p.m.

Fairfield University is offering an exclusive VIP experience for only $30 at FairfieldStags.com/TIX . In addition to admission to all three games, VIP experience tickets include access to the Grant Thornton VIP Lounge, which opens at 12 p.m. and will remain open throughout the tripleheader. The VIP Lounge includes a chef's table with a carving station, sliders, salad, cheeses, other select hot food and dessert. Soft drinks are included and a cash bar is available.

On campus, fans will have their first chance to see Head Coach Andy Copelan and Fairfield Men's Lacrosse in action in 2018. The Stags will welcome the University of Michigan and Boston University with action beginning at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, and concessions will be sold inside the stadium.

Fairfield will play Michigan at 10 a.m. at Rafferty Stadium, followed by an abbreviated contest between the Wolverines and Boston U. beginning at approximately 12:30 p.m. The day concludes with the Stags returning to the field to scrimmage the Terriers at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the 2018 Fairfield Men's Lacrosse regular season are on sale now at FairfieldStags.com/TIX . Fans can save up to $50 this spring with the purchase of a Fairfield Stags LaxPass .
