Fairfield Basketball Takes the Court on Alumni & Family Weekend

The Stags will host several events on-campus on Saturday, Oct. 21

Fans of Fairfield University Basketball will have an opportunity to see both the men's and women's basketball teams in action on Saturday, October 21 as a part of Alumni & Family Weekend.

The women's basketball team will start the day of hoops with an open practice at Walsh Athletic Center beginning at 10 a.m. Following the practice, Head Coach Joe Frager, his staff and the team will head over to Alumni House for a 1 p.m. Friends of Women's Basketball reception.

Later in the day, Stags fans can make their way over to George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall for the annual men's basketball Red & White Scrimmage beginning at 4 p.m. Head Coach Sydney Johnson will showcase the 2017-18 Running Stags in a live game setting.

Alumni & Family Weekend is a Fairfield tradition that offers a variety of fun activities and special events for students, alumni and families alike for one weekend every fall. This year, from October 20-22, there will be variety of events for students, alumni and families to enjoy.

Alumni & Family Weekend offers alumni the chance to network and reconnect, current students time to share their experiences with their parents, and for everyone to gather to celebrate Fairfield’s proud past and our amazing future.
