Fairfield U Grads Ranked #2 in CT for Highest Paid, Among Best MBA Programs in the Country

College Scorecard, which receives information from the U.S. Department of Education, puts Fairfield second, behind only Yale, out of 40 schools in the state of Connecticut. The Princeton Review named the University’s MBA program among the best in the country.

In a ranking based on information from the U.S. Department of Education, Fairfield University has placed second among all schools in Connecticut for graduates who have the highest starting salaries.

According to the ranking from College Scorecard, Fairfield University graduates are paid, on average, nearly $70,000 within 10 years of graduating. The information was gathered by analyzing the tax records of students who receive financial aid from higher education institutions and “linked with earnings data.”

Additionally, the Princeton Review included Fairfield’s Dolan School of Business’ MBA program among the best on-campus programs in the country, as well as one of the best in the Northeast. Schools were chosen based on institutional and student survey data which included “career outcomes, admissions selectivity, and academic rigor, among others.”

The latest rankings are not the first time Fairfield has been recognized for high salaries of graduates and business programs. In this year’s College Factual rankings, programs in the Dolan School of Business rank among in the Top 20 in the country for highest paid graduates, and graduates of programs in the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing are in the Top 5% nationally for highest paid graduates.
