Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Open House Celebration, Sept. 6

Please join us as we open the doors to the new and improved space for students in the Office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. All are invited to attend.

We are eager to share our student-centered space with the campus community...to maintain an inclusive and diverse space for our students to learn and grow.

On Wednesday, September 6 at 4 p.m., an Open House Ceremony celebrating the new and improved space for the Office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs will be held in the Barone Campus Center, room 100. All are invited to attend.

The Reflecting on Our Present , Looking Toward the Future celebration will include a blessing and reflection by Fr. Mark Scalese, S.J., staff introduction, student, faculty and staff reflections, and a welcome address from our new President, Mark R. Nemec, PhD. Refreshments will be served.

“We are eager to share our student-centered space with the campus community and our alumni, and talk about ways we can work together to maintain an inclusive, supportive and diverse space for our students to learn and grow,” stated Ophelie Rowe-Allen, EdD, associate dean of students and director of Residence Life and Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.

The Office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs offers a wide variety of programs and affinity clubs for the University community including the Safe Space Program, Ally Network, Academic Immersion, Cura Personalis Mentorship Program and more.
