Fairfield Career & Internship Fair, September 28

Fairfield Career Internship Fair, September 28

Fairfield University’s Fall Career and Internship Fair will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the RecPlex. All students are encouraged to attend to meet employers and to see the various internship and employment opportunities that are available.

Over 500 students are expected to attend the Fall Career and Internship Fair, making it a valuable opportunity for students to network with employers. Over 100 representatives from organizations in accounting, finance, marketing, engineering, medical/health, consumer products, graduate programs, and non-profits will be present.

“Many employers return each year because they always find talented candidates from Fairfield. It shows the caliber of our students. Additionally, meeting students face-to-face puts them at an advantage in the process,” said Julie Tuozzoli '85, director of Employer Relations and Alumni Career Development at the Academic & Career Development Center.

Some of the organizations in attendance include Epsilon, Ernst & Young, Fairfield University Graduate Admission, Federici Brands, HooplaHa - Only Good News, Indeed.com, RightClick, Tauck, United States Air Force and many more!

Students planning to attend the fair should dress for success and come prepared with extra copies of their resume and knowledge about the attending organizations.

Don’t forget about the Job Shadow Program:
It’s never too early to start thinking about Fairfield’s Job Shadow program. During winter break, the Academic & Career Development Center pairs students with alumni professionals for a day or half-day of rewarding career exploration. Through this opportunity, alumni can have a powerful influence on mentoring a Fairfield junior or senior. Learn more .
