Marketing MIXer: Step Into Your Future, Oct. 26

Are you interested in a career in marketing? On Wednesday, October 26 from 3 - 5 p.m . the Dolan School of Business will host the “Marketing MIXer: Step Into Your Future” event. The Marketing MIXer will focus on career possibilities within the field of marketing and is an opportunity for students to hear from marketing professionals who have achieved success in their field.

The evening will be structured as an informal conversation between students and participating alumni and regional employers in the field. Students will have the chance to learn more about the mission, accomplishments and services of various companies and learn about each marketer’s unique role.

“The DSB will showcase local professionals and companies that provide marketing services in any of the following capacities: advertising, branding, digital, public relations, market research, media strategy, sales, social media and more,” explained Sarah Bollinger, director of Internships and Professional Development. “This casual format gives students exposure to different areas of marketing and an understanding of how to prepare for a career in marketing and what qualifications are needed to excel.”

A broad range of companies will be represented at the event, including Critical MIX, Barnum Financial Group, FACES Beautiful, JS Restaurant, Make-A-Wish, OutsideTV, Persifor and Synchrony Financial.

Students should register for the event on OrgSync. This event is sponsored by Critical MIX.
