Fairfield Students Featured in New Haven Independent Series

What are the unique challenges of students of limited means who are often the first in their families to attend college? For the past several months, New Haven Independent reporter Melissa Bailey has chronicled the unique challenges of two high-achieving Latina students as they graduated high school and entered Fairfield University.
