Assessment Team Mission

Collaboratively explore, identify, adopt, and apply effective assessment processes for library operations and services. 
The team members will focus on:

  • Continuing to educate themselves  on the current status of assessment in academic libraries in order to build and support a culture of assessment in our Library
  • Expanding the Five Year Assessment Plan in order to implement evidence-based assessment programs to measure student learning and organizational efficiency, and to promote continuous improvement. Automation of data collection will be emphasized.
  • Considering focused assessment approaches and projects to improve Library services, enhance Library collections and develop the Library’s human resources.
