Kelly Sullivan, DNP, APRN graduated from Fairfield University with her BSN and began working in the neonatal ICU at Stamford Hospital. She quickly pursued her Masters in Nursing at Fairfield University and graduated with her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, as a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Upon completion of her masters Dr. Sullivan began working in school based health centers, with children from pre-K to high school. In addition to her work with the school base clinics, she also worked as a care coordinator for the Easy Breathing © Asthma management program. She pursued her DNP, also at Fairfield University and joined the Egan School of Nursing as visiting professor in the fall of 2016. Dr. Sullivan’s work in SBHC’s led to her research focus of working with underprivileged families to promote health promotion and disease prevention.
