Suzanna Klaf is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology, and Director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Fairfield University. She teaches interdisciplinary courses and a foundational course for International Studies. Professor Klaf is responsible for professional development, working with faculty and departments on course design, curriculum development, assessment of student learning, among other teaching and learning areas. Her background is in urban geography. She earned her PhD in Geography at the Ohio State University in 2009, where she taught World Regional Geography courses and facilitated professional development workshops in the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching.
