Dr. Robert's education background includes a doctorate in counselor education from Mississippi State University (2003), a master's degree in community counseling from Fairfield University (1978), and a B.A. from Dunbarton College (1973). Her dissertation was on the relationship between spirituality and job satisfaction. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Connecticut and is nationally certified as a career counselor since 1983. She has been a member of the counselor education faculty since 1996 and was tenured and promoted to associate professor in 2008 and promoted to full professor in 2016. She currently serves the department as the Director of Clinical Training.
