Rebecca Dimyan is an Adjunct Professor of English at Fairfield University. Professor Dimyan received an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Fairfield and a B.A. in English from Boston University. She is an award-winning writer whose nonfiction essays and short fiction have appeared in national and international print and online publications including Vox, The Ampersand Review, HelloGiggles, and Gastronomica: The Journal of Critical Food Studies. She is also a food and lifestyle journalist and regular contributor to The Home Monthly Magazine. In addition to teaching first-year writing at Fairfield University, Professor Dimyan teaches developmental and intermediate writing courses at Southern Connecticut State University and The Literature of Food at Quinnipiac University. She is also co-founder and co-chair of The Ridgefield Writers’ Conference.
