GSEAP - A Great Place for Professional Education Development and Events

Fairfield University's Graduate School of Education & Allied Professions offers several workshops and special, intensive classes in Counselor Education, Educational Studies and Teacher Preparation, Educational Technology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, and Special Education throughout the year. All programs are on campus or at the Fairfield University Bookstore in Fairfield, CT.

Please note: If you would like to take a course for graduate course credit, you must be an accepted student or apply for non-matriculated status which allows you to earn up to six credits before formally applying to a program. Please read our policies for more information.

Workshop Leader

Dr. Paul Maloney headshotDr. Paul Maloney, assistant professor of the practice in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Fairfield's Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions, has led professional development workshops for many years. Dr. Maloney has consulted on organizational and human resource issues worldwide. His career includes senior level positions in management and organization development at NBC, Mobil, and PepsiCo.

Dr. Maloney's specialties include change management, communications, consulting skills, executive feedback and coaching, leadership development, presentation skills, and teambuilding and development. He received his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his doctorate from the University of Virginia. Dr. Maloney served as a Lieutenant in the Navy. He is Past Commodore of The Black Rock Yacht Club and recently served a four year term as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Thomas Merton Center which serves needy individuals and families in Bridgeport.
