View our Commencement Campus Map

Outdoor Location

The 69th Commencement ceremony is scheduled to be held on Bellarmine Lawn. Commencement will be held outdoors, even in drizzle or rain, so please come prepared with appropriate rain gear. We ask attendees to please refrain from using umbrellas during the ceremony so as to not block the view of others.

Indoor Location

In the case of severe and dangerous weather, officials may choose to move the ceremony indoors to Alumni Hall. View the campus map here. Each degree candidate is given a maximum of five (5) tickets for the outdoor Commencement exercises. Two (2) of these outdoor tickets will be special indoor tickets valid for two guests only for undergraduate indoor exercises. Tickets that do not admit the holder to Alumni Hall will have a specified indoor viewing location marked on the ticket. View our campus map to see the indoor live-stream viewing locations.

Changes to ceremony location:

Any delays or cancellations will be communicated via the website at fairfield.edu and the University’s Stag Alert system. Information will also be placed on www.fairfield.edu/commencement.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR GUESTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES?
