“From third grade to high school, I participated in a piano music festival at Fairfield University. After playing on campus for six years, I knew I wanted to attend Fairfield, but finances were a major obstacle. This scholarship helped me realize my dream of returning to campus as a student. Faculty from the Office of Student Diversity & Multicultural Affairs encouraged me to go outside my comfort zone – take chances, make friends, and learn about opportunities. Because of their belief in me, I am double majoring in accounting and finance with a minor in Black studies. I have signed a full time offer with Alvarez and Marsal and hope to pursue law school. It is important that companies and individuals support scholarships at Fairfield because they are investing in the leaders of tomorrow. Scholarships allow students like me to focus on developing themselves and becoming more well-rounded individuals.”
