“As the first in my family to pursue nursing, I didn’t know what to expect. I did know that I had to take advantage of each opportunity my educational experience would provide. Committing myself to the nursing program strengthened my character and taught me many lessons about caring for the whole person. I fell in love with Fairfield, its teachers, and my peers, who hold me to a standard and support me. I will continue to work hard at completing my goals which you have made much more possible.”
