Shannon Siwinski ’92, P’16

Alumni Service Award
Director, Senior Trader, BofA Securities, Inc.

Since her graduation from Fairfield with a degree in biology, Shannon Siwinski has continued to be an active and invaluable participant in all areas of the University. Her engagement as a mentor and consistent resource for the University’s Career Center, in her current position at Bank of America and previous position at J.P. Morgan, broadened opportunities for numerous Fairfield students and recent graduates.

Siwinski joined the Alumni Association Board in 2009, and served as its president for two years. “Shannon is an incredibly hard-working, organized, and accomplished professional who gives her time freely,” shares Assistant Vice President of Alumni Relations Janet Canepa ’82. “She consistently returned to campus for a variety of programs, served on her Reunion committee and the Parents Leadership Council, and hosted events in her home for accepted students.”

Siwinski is also a member of the Fairfield University Women’s Leadership Council, has spoken at the Fairfield County Networking Reception, and hosted admitted students’ receptions at her New Jersey home. As a guest speaker during the Dolan Schools’ Forty-Fourth Annual Student and Faculty Recognition Ceremony last year, Shannon shared with students her experience at Fairfield and the importance of strengthening connections and giving back. She and her husband, Steve ’92, were actively engaged with the Parents Leadership Council while their daughter, Sarah ’16, was a student.
