Fairfield University Women’s Cross Country enhances the college experience of our varsity student-athletes, providing them with opportunities to excel athletically and academically. Friends of Women’s Cross Country provides the program with the basic necessities to help them run at the highest levels of collegiate competition.
Dear Friends of Cross Country,
It is an honor to have been recently named the 16th head coach of the men's and women's cross country teams. I'm looking forward to leading the program and being a part of the Fairfield University community.
Our men and women runners have spent the summer months putting in many miles and training for the current season. We are eager to put our running shoes to the test during the Ted Owen Invitational on September 23rd, Paul Short Run on September 29th, and the New England Championship on October 7th.
Senior, Ashley Cambisaca, and junior, Katie Kern, are captaining the women's team. The women's incoming recruiting class included freshmen Devyn O'Brien and Anna Valentine.
We are grateful to all of our donors for supporting our cross country student-athletes. Please help us continue to strengthen our team by making a donation today.
