Giving Programs

Fairfield is very grateful for the generosity of alumni, parents and friends who support our mission with annual gifts or legacy commitments from $1,000 to $1,000,000+. Our most generous donors are recognized and celebrated as part of various Fairfield leadership giving groups.

The Women’s Leadership Council exists to strengthen and support Fairfield University’s network of women including alumnae, parents, and friends, engage more women in the University’s mission, increase philanthropy from women for campus priorities, and help our female students succeed at Fairfield and beyond.

The Parent Fundraising program is comprised of the Parents’ Fund and the Parent Leadership Council. The Parent Fund is a component of the Fairfield Fund and donations are used to strengthen student life, career services and other programs designed to help our students succeed. The Parents’ Leadership Council is comprised of parents who are committed to the mission of Fairfield University and make an annual leadership contribution of $5,000 or more.

Fairfield Students are actively involved in activities to educate fellow students on the importance of philanthropy through STAGS Give Back and encourage members of the Senior Class to participate in their class gift. Over 30 students also help raise funds for Fairfield and update alumni and parents who they speak with as part of our Student Phonathon program.

Reunion Years provide an excellent opportunity to commemorate your time at Fairfield as well as enhance the experience of our current students and future generations by participating in your Reunion Class Gift. We encourage everyone celebrating a Reunion to “Come Back and Give Back.” We would also welcome your involvement as a Reunion Committee Member

From the day you graduate until your 10th Reunion, you are considered a Fairfield Young Alumni. You are part of a very important group, making up over 25% of our alumni population. There are many ways to get involved including attending young alumni activities, serving as a class agent to support involvement and participation in you class gift, and coming back to Fairfield to attend signature events. We hope to hear from you and see you soon!

Planned giving can offer you creative, strategic ways to support the University, while also providing you and your family with tax and other benefits. Planned gifts come in many forms, such as beneficiary designations, gifts through a will, charitable gift annuities, and charitable trusts.
