Creative Brief

When a department needs to create marketing materials (brochures, flyers, invitations, digital displays, web pages, photography, etc.) a creative brief should be filled out prior to contacting your IMM, you should have a general sense of the scope of your project, such as:

  • Will you need writing, design, and/or photography?
  • What format will best suit your objectives—brochure, booklet, other?
  • What is your overall budget?
  • When do you need delivery?

Service Length Agreements

  • Brochure/booklet: 3-4 weeks
  • Newsletter (print): 3-4 weeks
  • Invitation: 1-2 weeks
  • Program: 2-3 weeks (depending on event and mailing schedules)
  • Viewbook: 6-10 weeks Reprints: 2-4 weeks
  • Special events: 1-3 months
