WVOF broadcasts live at Acoustic Café

Fairfield University's WVOF Radio, 88.5 FM, will broadcast "WVOF Night" featuring the funk/rock and roll band, X-IT, at the Acoustic Café, 2926 Fairfield Ave., Black Rock, on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 8:30 p.m. Fairfield Weekly named X-IT the No. 1 rock and roll band and No. 2 funk band. The four band members have been playing together for two years both locally and in New York City.

The Acoustic Café, now open for a year, has featured such artists as: Sue Foley, Teddy Goldstein and Pamela Means. "WVOF Night" will take place once a month at the Café when several other DJs will also broadcast live. In addition, on Monday, Oct. 23, X-IT will appear live on WVOF's "Upper Room with Joe Kelley," from 4 to 8 p.m.
