Hi!
I have finally arrived in Florence. The city is beautiful and I can't believe that I am finally here. I am living in a beautiful 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment with 9 other girls, some from Fairfield, some from other schools around the country. We are two blocks from the Duomo and a 5-10 minute walk from Florence University of the Arts. We left on a group flight on Sunday evening and finally arrived here at around 1:30 on Monday. Last night we had a group dinner and today we had a day filled with orientation. They have put together a lot of useful information like where the best supermarkets are, where to pick up the bus, how to get the internet, etc. all together for us which has been so helpful! It has been surprisingly very easy to get used to the time difference. I feel as if I have been here for longer then I have! We leave early tomorrow morning to go on a tour to Rome, Assisi and Orvieto. I will make sure to take pictures of all of the beautiful sites we see there! I'll make sure to write when I get back in a few days!
