Journal Entry #1

Dear Fairfield,

For some, summer goes too fast. For others, it goes to slow. But no matter what, I don't think I have run into anyone around here who isn't excited to be back at Fairfield! I know I live at home, but having everyone back in the area is like one big family reunion every day of the week. However, along with all the hugs and catching up comes the joy of new classes and the general craziness of first week back activities!

This semester may just prove to be one of the best yet. Right now, I've got five classes lined up: Introduction to Probability & Statistics, General Sociology, The Epic Hero (English), Introduction to Piano Keyboard and Acting I.

Take all these classes, throw in writing for The Mirror, getting The Cream Filling on its feet, PLUS my very first audition EVER, and you have the most exciting (and hectic!) first week back. I'm still trying to catch my breath! There seems to be so much at my fingertips at the moment that I just can't touch it all, but I'm trying! So many opportunities are right there, just waiting to be snatched up! This year shall be quite a journey and I'm so glad I get to share it with you! There's no telling where I'm going to end up and there's no looking back!
