This program has been developed to address the needs of adults who wish to broaden their perspective of the human resource profession. It is designed to present the participant with essential knowledge for entry into exempt positions in the human resource development/personnel function. The program offers the opportunity to strengthen skills, boost confidence, and advance career opportunities. The one-semester format will familiarize participants with the field in general and the specific functions in the profession.
Certificate Requirements
To receive the certificate in Human Resource Management, students must successfully complete all requirements of this one-semester program. Evaluation will be on the basis of proficiency in classroom participation, outside assignments, case studies, attendance, and final examinations.
Curriculum
The curriculum consists of instructional modules covering topics that range from human resource functions to management principles. The specialized modules focus on current concepts and practical skills.

Program Cost
Tuition - $1,540 (SHRM members: $1,340)
Tuition covers the cost of instruction, materials, and textbooks.
