Online Computing Certificate
Choose from 3 certificate programs that prepare students with the skills necessary for today's workforce. These certificates are ideal for preparing military personnel for employment in the private sector.
- Internet Information Security - A+, N+, Security + (Course # TECH 1130)
- Office Information Productivity - Word XP, Access XP, Excel XP, Outlook XP, PowerPoint XP (Course # TECH 1140)
- Networking and Operating Systems - MCSA 2003 or MCSE 2003 (Course # TECH 1150)
Upon successful completion of 180 clock hours, students receive a certificate and transcript from Fairfield University.
Length of Each Certificate: 180 clock hours; programs start each month
Certificate Tuition: $3,000.60 ($16.67 per clock hour)
Students receive a technology package that includes a new laptop and a licensed Microsoft Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic Operating System for use in completing the online programs. At the completion of the program, students have the option to purchase the technology package or return the laptop with the pre-paid postage provided. The technology package is provided for the purpose of improving online education and accessibility. This package does not include Internet access service or any peripheral equipment.
