Israel: A Journey to the Holy Landar_israel_trip_210px
March 2015

Come and experience Israel, the cradle of western faiths and a land of contrasts. You will come to understand the historical and spiritual meaning of places from familiar Biblical stories: Bethlehem, Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, Mount of Olives, Jerusalem and more. We'll trace the footsteps of the ancient prophets and explore King David's kingdom. We'll visit where Jesus' birth, ministry, death and resurrection were located. You'll learn about the interfaith pathways connecting and inspiring Judaism, Christianity and Islam for 4,000 years.

Read an article from Venu magazine by Dr. Eliasoph about traveling in the area:
"Bucket List Bonanza:  Petra's Ancient Pagan Sites Inspired Indiana Jones and Lawrence of Arabia"

You will be guided by Fairfield University's expert team of Rev. Charles Allen, S.J., Professor Yael Eliasoph, and Dr. Philip Eliasoph. To be on the mailing list for this trip, please e-mail alumni@fairfield.edu or call the Office of Alumni Relations at (203) 254-4280.
