Friday, May 16

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Check in for Friday Arrivals

Check in will close briefly at 4 p.m., it will reopen at 5 p.m. at 42 Bellarmine Road.

10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Bellarmine Museum Open House
Location:
Bellarmine Hall
At your leisure, visit the Bellarmine Museum of Art, which opened in Fall 2010.

12:30 p.m.
Box Lunch

Location: Alumni House
Be sure to stop back at Alumni House for lunch before the campus tour.

2 p.m.
Bus Tour of Campus with Father Charles Allen, S.J
Location: Alumni House
Take the afternoon to rediscover Fairfield University; there will be stops and mini-presentations along the way.

5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Check in for Friday Arrivals

Class of 1964 Welcome Reception and Barbecue

Location: Faber Hall at 42 Bellarmine Road
Enjoy cocktails and a barbecue while you get reacquainted with your classmates.

Saturday, May 17

Breakfast and Check-In
Location: Faber Hall at 42 Bellarmine Road
Meet for coffee and breakfast. Coffee will be available at 7 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. 

9:30 a.m.
"The Changing Environment of Education" 
Location: Faber Hall at 42 Bellarmine Road
Join Christine Siegel, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Tom Pellegrino, Vice President for Student Affairs, Kamala Kiem, Assistant Dean of Students & Director, Student Programs & Leadership Development, Shanon Reckinger, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Nancy Dallavalle, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, Mary Frances Malone, Associate Academic Vice President for Academic Affairs, for a conversation on education from past, present to the future. 

11:30 a.m. 
50th Reunion Golden Stags Induction Ceremony & Luncheon

Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
University President Rev. Jeffrey von Arx, S.J., will induct the Class of 1964 into the Golden Stags at this special ceremony. Lunch will follow. (You will have the opportunity to have your photo taken)

1:30 p.m.
Free Time: Exploring Fairfield
Locations: Campus-wide
Visit the Campus Center and stock up on your Stag gear at the Spirit Shop; tour the Walsh Art Gallery at the Quick Center for the Arts; visit the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola; or enjoy some quiet time catching up with your classmates. If you would like to change for the evening events a hospitality suite will be available. Evening attire: sport jacket (no tie required) and dressy casual for women.

3 p.m.
Baccalaureate Mass Preparation
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Caps and gowns will be provided for your participation in Baccalaureate Mass. Alumni with graduate/advanced degrees are welcome to wear their own regalia.

4 p.m.
Baccalaureate Mass

Location: Alumni Hall
Join in congratulating the Class of 2014 in this long-time tradition by participating in the Mass procession. Reserved seating will be provided for you and your guest.

5:30 p.m.
Class of 1964 Cocktail Reception and Dinner Dance

Location: Dolan School of Business Lobby and Dining Room
Reconvene, celebrate, and reminisce over cocktails and dinner.

Sunday, May 18

7:30 a.m.
Buffet Breakfast & Preparation for Commencement

Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet and one more class photo as you don your caps and gowns and prepare for Commencement.

8:30 a.m.
Transportation to Commencement

9:30 a.m.
64th Commencement Ceremonies

Location: Bellarmine Lawn*
March in the Academic Procession as Fairfield celebrates its 64th Commencement and the 50th anniversary of your graduation. Class of 1964 participants will receive special recognition. There will be reserved seating for your guest.

Farewell Lunch
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Immediately following the Commencement Ceremonies, you and your guest will be transported back to the School of Business where you can grab a boxed lunch for the road or sit and enjoy your lunch with your classmates.

*Details regarding Commencement in the event of inclement weather will be discussed when you arrive on campus.
