New Library Request It Service

Now you can use the "Request it" feature in the library catalog to request books, CDs and films to be retrieved and put on hold for pick-up. Items listed as available on-shelf will be available for pick up within 36 hours. You will be notified by e-mail when the item is ready for pick up at the Circulation Desk. If the item you need is currently checked out, use "Request it’ to recall the item, which then shortens the loan period for the original borrower. You will be notified by e-mail when the recalled item is ready for pick up at the Circulation Desk. Material will be held for 7 days for pick-up and then returned to the shelves if not picked up by that time.
