Office of Graduate Student Life
The Office of Graduate Student Life seeks to foster a sense of community among graduate students by organizing and planning intellectual, cultural, and social events, recreational outings, Jesuit service learning and other activities. Each semester the Office of Graduate Student Life publishes a calendar (PDF below) with a variety of events and programs for graduate students.
Welcome back Graduate Students! Spring semester is underway and we have some amazing events planned for you this semester! See the Spring 2013 calendar of events.
Graduate Student Service Awards
It's that time of the year! Spring is almost here and with it, the annual Graduate Student Service Award dinner. We are now accepting nominations for the Graduate Student Service Awards.
The Graduate Student Service Award is given annually to one member of each of the Graduate Schools who have demonstrated exceptional service, dedication, and commitment to a volunteer or service program in their local community.
Nominations may be submitted online. Currently enrolled graduate students and graduate faculty are asked to nominate students who have demonstrated exceptional service, dedication and commitment as a volunteer in a service program in their local community. Graduate Student Assembly
The Grad Student Assembly is an advisory board made up of graduate students from each program, working together to assist and advocate for the graduate student experience and the Jesuit character of our programs.
The graduate student assembly acts as the liaison between the graduate student body and the University administration. They help plan and coordinate the semester events. If you are interested in attending a Graduate Student Assembly meeting, we encourage you to attend!
