StagCard Office

Services and Uses

Your StagCard has a variety of uses; it can be used as a debit card, facilities access card, laundry card, meal card, and print card.

Debit Card
The StagBucks debit account is an optional prepaid account available to students, faculty, and staff. Funds deposited into this account can be used to make purchases at the University Bookstore, the University Activities Office (for discount movie and Broadway tickets, and other activities), campus vending machines, and food service locations throughout campus. This account will also be charged once Dining Dollars (purchased as part of a meal plan) and/or laundry or printing allotments are depleted.

View the listing of off-campus merchants that accept StagBucks.

Facilities Access Card
Residence Halls and Village Apartments
All residence halls, including the village apartments are locked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All full-time undergraduates can use their StagCard to access these facilities between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. After 11 p.m., your StagCard only allows you access to your campus residence.

Leslie C. Quick Jr. Recreation Complex
To access the Quick RecPlex, all members must swipe their StagCard at the front desk. All regular, full-time undergraduate students receive a membership to the Quick RecPlex. Other students, faculty, and staff may purchase annual memberships. Please call (203) 254-4140 for more information.

Computer Labs
All University computer labs are locked 24 hours a day; you must swipe your StagCard to unlock the door. General usage labs are located in the Bannow Science Center, Barone Campus Center (laptops for sign-out), Canisius Hall, DiMenna-Nyselius Library, Dolan School of Business, and Donnarumma Hall.

Laundry Card
The laundry account is a prepaid account provided to all students living in University housing. Each student living in the residence halls, village apartments, or townhouses is provided with 72 cycles per semester for on-campus washers or dryers. These cycles are not transferable to future academic semesters or years. If a student expends all of their laundry cycles prior to the end of the semester, the laundry system will automatically debit the student's StagBucks account provided funds are available.

Meal Card
Residence Hall Students: All students living in the University's residence halls are required to have a meal plan. Information regarding meal plan options is available from the Food Service (Sodexo) Office in the Barone Campus Center, Room 404, and the StagCard Office in the Kelley Center. Students can change their meal plans the first full week of each semester, at either the Barone Campus Center Main Dining Hall or the StagCard Office.

Apartment, Townhouse, Commuting, and Off-Campus Residents: Upperclassmen living in the apartments or townhouses, or students who commute or live off-campus may chose to purchase a meal plan. Brochures with meal plan options are sent home before the beginning of each semester. Payment is not required at the time of purchase; your student account will be billed. Students may purchase these meal plans throughout the semester at either the StagCard Office or the Food Service Office in the Barone Campus Center, Room 404.

Meal plan changes are allowed the first two weeks of each semester; to purchase or change a meal plan please visit www.fairfield.edu/mealplan.

Print Card - StagPrint
The StagPrint account is a prepaid account provided to all Fairfield University students. StagPrint value is used to purchase printouts made in all public University computer labs. Each full-time undergraduate student is provided with 200 printed pages per semester. Part-time students are provided with a certain number of prints based on the number of classes they are taking for a semester.

StagPrint value is not transferable to future academic semesters or years. If a student spends all of their StagPrint value prior to the end of the semester, the StagPrint system will automatically debit the student's StagBucks account provided funds are available.

Guests of the University who wish to print in the computer labs may purchase a guest card at the Value Transfer Station in the DiMenna-Nyselius Library.
