Welcome to your new home!

When you move into your new home on Sunday, September 2, 2012 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) your journey at Fairfield begins.

Check back regularly as this site will keep you updated about everything you need to know regarding your transition to Fairfield University and becoming a Stag! When you arrive on campus, you will move into your residence hall and meet with your assigned New Student Leader (NSL). They are so excited for your arrival and can't wait to introduce themselves!

During the last week in June, transfer students will received their Transfer Student Guide in the mail as well as access instructions to their online checklist. The online checklist will allow them to complete the following:

  • Register for Transfer Student 2012 Orientation
  • Housing Application
  • Honor Code
  • Language Placement (speak with Dean first)
  • Parent/Guardian Information Form
  • Request for Reasonable Accommodations Based on Disability (optional)
  • Medical Report & Immunization Form
  • Handbook Acceptance
  • Student Code of Conduct Quiz

Transfer Student Guide

New Student Programs is in the process of creating the Transfer Student Guide Fall 2012 to assist you during your first semesters at Fairfield. This book will serve as your 'go to' resource for everything Fairfield. It is packed with information regarding buildings on campus, academic registration, and office locations and contact information. When you receive it, read the booklet thoroughly as it will help greatly with your transition and with any questions you may have.

Transfer Student Move-in Information

New student move-in is scheduled for Sunday, September 2, 2012 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.). Room keys will be available in the Office of Residence Life located in the lower level of the Barone Campus Center. (Read suggestions about what to bring to campus.)

After moving in, students will have time to further set up their rooms and make any last-minute shopping trips before meeting with their NSL. Students will receive a welcome schedule when getting their key.
