2012-2013 Fairfield University Student Injury & Sickness Plan

Enrollment in the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan is required for all students registered for full-time, undergraduate studies. To ensure compliance with this policy, students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan.

If currently insured, students can waive enrollment. Not all plans provide comparable coverage including out-of-state Medicaid plans, certain HMOs, and managed care plans. Students should check with their insurance company before waiving coverage.

Note: Non U.S.-based international coverage and short term coverage are not considered comparable insurance coverage.

Online Waiver Process
(Deadline: August 15, 2012)

To waive the Student Health Insurance Plan for the 2012-13 policy year, log in to StagWeb at stagweb.fairfield.edu.

  1. Log in using NetID and password
  2. Scroll to the "Bookmarks" channel
  3. Click on the "Insurance Waiver" link
  4. Complete the form (fields in red are required)
  5. Click "Submit" button

* If not submitted by the deadline, students will remain enrolled in and billed for the student insurance plan for the entire policy year.
