Custodial Services
Custodial Services are provided by ABM Industries. Services and duties generally are limited to the interior of buildings and facilities and include:
- Cleaning offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, public areas, and restrooms
- Trash and recycled paper removal
- Spill clean-up
- Scheduled cleaning of floors, carpets, etc.
Additional services include:
- Non-routine or regularly scheduled cleaning, re-finishing, etc.
- Event set-up and clean-up
- Coordination of cleaning, upgrade, and replacement of carpeting, blinds, and drapery
- Assistance with summer conference and special programs
- Assistance with pest control and hazardous material abatement and clean-up

All questions or custodial needs should be directed to the Work Order call center at (203) 254-4000 ext. 2331 during normal business hours, and the Department of Public Safety at (203) 254-4000 ext. 4090 for emergencies after hours. Work orders can continue to be made online (must be on campus to access).
