Construction updates

42 Bellarmine Road

Students in the Creative Life Residential College are settling in to the newly renovated 42 Bellarmine Road. They are gathering and studying in all of the new lounges, especially enjoying the weekly social nights in the fireplace commons.

The new dining room and bike room are for student use.

The former Jesuit Community Center, St. Ignatius Hall, was converted to student housing and reopened as 42 Bellarmine Hall in September 2010, housing 140 students.

The 42 Bellarmine Road project directly address the need for residential environments that relate to our living and learning goals.

The Creative Life Residential College is housed in this community. They will work closely with faculty in the fine arts, theatre, studio art, and media departments.

All of the students live in a suite, sharing a common bathroom with three other roommates. There is a kitchen on every floor, three common lounge spaces, two study lounges, and one multi-faith prayer space.
