Events & Programs

The Career Planning Center offers a variety of events including Career Fairs each semester. Please refer to the scrolling calendar on the right for information about upcoming events including workshops, interview days, alumni panels, and more.

The Center also sponsors a series of annual programs that we encourage students to learn more about.

Sophomore Success: Each fall semester the Career Planning Center invites sophomores to be a part of a series of workshops (dinner is provided!) that include topics such as studying abroad, resume writing, interview skills, and more.

Alumni Job Shadow Program: The Alumni Job Shadow Program matches juniors and seniors with a Fairfield alumnus/na who is in a job field that a student is interested in learning more about. Students apply for the program in the fall semester and shadow the alumnus/na they are matched with over winter break.

Peer Educator Program: The Peer Educator Program is comprised of juniors and seniors who are trained to help underclassmen and their peers on topics such as resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, etc. This is a great leadership position that will also help you develop career-readiness skills.

Senior Seminar Series: A series of program designed especially for seniors during spring semester to help them prepare for life after Fairfield. We know it's a stressful time so let us help you get on the right track!
