Campus Ministry - Interfaith and Ecumenical Services
In an effort to attend to the spiritual needs of our non-Catholic students, Campus Ministry provides a host of services and collaborates with those beyond the Catholic and Jesuit tradition. Campus Ministry also makes every effort to enable non-Catholic students to connect with local faith communities from their tradition by providing transportation to and from local churches, synagogues, and mosques.
Interfaith and Ecumenical Services
Campus Ministry, in partnership with the Office of Student Diversity Programs, the Bennett Center for Judaic Studies, and Residence Life, initiates and conducts a variety of religious experiences. Candlelight vigils and prayer services have been developed during significant religious holidays and for major annual campus-wide events, such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, National AIDS Awareness Day, and Earth Day. Jewish observances include a Passover Seder experience and an annual Holocaust Remembrance Service, among others.
InterVarsity
Fairfield Christian Fellowship is a chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship USA. InterVarsty is an evangelical campus mission serving students and faculty on college and university campuses nationwide. Fairfield Christian Fellowship is an interdenominational, multi-ethnic community that seeks to intrigue, inspire, and ignite the Fairfield campus with the love of Jesus. No matter where you are on the faith spectrum - whether you have been a follower of Jesus your whole life, or if you are just starting to investigate Christianity, or if you are somewhere in between - there is a place for you. We investigate Jesus by studying Scripture, praying together, building friendships, and engaging with those hard questions facing college students today. Come and see what we're all about.
