Disability Support Services

Disability Support Services offers a variety of accommodations and services to students with documented permanent and temporary injuries and conditions.

Accommodations are adaptations and changes made to elements of a student's postsecondary program that help to compensate for the student's impairment(s) and provide equal access to students with disabilities. Accommodations are not a guarantee for success, but rather seek to promote non-discrimination and equal access opportunities.

We provide qualified students with disabilities an equal opportunity to access the benefits, rights, and privileges of Fairfield University's services, programs and activities, in an accessible setting. Furthermore, in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Connecticut State laws, we provide reasonable accommodations to qualified students, to reduce the impact of disabilities on academic functioning or upon other major life activities.
