Welcome to the V.A. Nursing Academy
Fairfield University School of Nursing has a new partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs called the VA Nursing Academy. Fairfield University is one of ten colleges in the country for a unique partnership between nursing practice and nursing education. The partnership expands nursing education to provide students with opportunities to participate in educational and practice innovations in classroom and clinical settings. Following graduation from Fairfield's Second Degree Program, some students may be eligible for financial assistance in exchange for an obligation to work at a VA facility anywhere in the United States for a period of time.
For information on the Second Degree program, please contact the School of Nursing at (203) 254-4150 or e-mail Donna Ormsbee.
