Welcome to the School of Nursing

Dean Suzanne CampbellStudents come to Fairfield's School of Nursing because of the excellence of our programs - small classes, attentive faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and a highly respected reputation.

Here you'll find a School that has affiliations with more than 50 agencies so you can practice nursing in a variety of clinical settings. You'll develop and sharpen your patient-care and critical-thinkng skills in multimedia classrooms and a modern Learning Resource Center. But a Fairfield education is more than the sum of these parts. You'll come to learn that Fairfield's 500-year-old Jesuit tradition of academic rigor and personal reflection leads to a global understanding of healthcare with a strong focus on issues of justice and equality.

The demand for good nurses has never been higher, and technological advances have empowered nurses to take a leading role in patient care. At Fairfield, we set the pace in educating a new generation of nurses, while understanding that the core value of a nursing education doesn't change.

It's the foundation of an inspired life.
