Welcome to the School of Nursing
Students come to Fairfield's School of Nursing because of the excellence of our programs - small classes, attentive faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and a highly respected reputation.
Here you'll find a School that has affiliations with more than 50 agencies so you can practice nursing in a variety of clinical settings. You'll develop and sharpen your patient-care and critical-thinkng skills in multimedia classrooms and a modern Learning Resource Center. But a Fairfield education is more than the sum of these parts. You'll come to learn that Fairfield's 500-year-old Jesuit tradition of academic rigor and personal reflection leads to a global understanding of healthcare with a strong focus on issues of justice and equality.
This is an exciting time to study nursing. The demand for good nurses has never been higher, and technological advances have empowered nurses to take a leading role in patient care. At Fairfield, we set the pace in educating a new generation of nurses, while understanding that the core value of a nursing education doesn't change.
It's the foundation of an inspired life.
