Welcome to the School of Engineering

Students come to Fairfield's School of Engineering for practical reasons - to work in small-class settings, to collaborate closely with committed faculty in their area of expertise, and to live and learn with fellow logical thinkers so that pooling resources and working as a team becomes second nature.

Today's technology promises solutions to complex problems, and you'll learn how to tackle them creatively and skillfully as well as collaboratively. But you'll gain more from your time at Fairfield than a skill set and a degree. You'll come to learn that Fairfield's 500-year-old Jesuit tradition of academic rigor and personal reflection will lead to problem-solving skills that are indelible and durable.

In a time when technology is seen as both the cause and the solution for some of the world's most complicated problems, this perspective will not only help you embark on your career, it will inspire and enable you to change the world.
