Sports Medicine
The Sports Medicine unit within the Department of Athletics at Fairfield University traditional athletic training and sports medicine services to the ill or injured intercollegiate student-athletes. Our Sports Medicine Staff focus primarily on delivering the best care to our athletes through injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Our staff strives to provide leadership and education in areas, such as nutrition, strength and conditioning, and injury education, which are an integral part to the success of the intercollegiate athlete. We are committed to the well-being of all athletes at Fairfield University and we are dedicated to maintain the health of our athletes.
Sports Medicine Team The Fairfield University Sports Medicine Team consists of certified athletic trainers, team physicians, consulting physicians, and other allied healthcare professionals. The team works together to prevent, manage, and rehabilitate all injured student-athletes.
