Voter Registration
In accordance with the federal Higher Education Act, Fairfield University provides students with the opportunity to register to vote. By virtue of being a student living at and attending a Connecticut college, students are entitled to become registered voters in the Town of Fairfield (or town of residence) and the State of Connecticut. Students from other states who wish to vote in a state other than Connecticut should use a federal form or one supplied by the state in which they wish to register. Both the state and federal forms can be obtained via the Internet. Procedural information and links to the appropriate state agencies can be found on the University website under the Office of Student Activities & Facilities. Questions regarding voter registration, census, and elections may also be directed to the Registrars of Voters for the Town of Fairfield at (203) 256-3115 or www.fairfieldct.org/voter.htm#registrars. |
