Vandalism/Damage to Property

The deliberate destruction of property demonstrated a lack of respect for self, others, and the community. In addition to the replacement or repair cost resulting from such behavior, additional sanctions will be levied, up to and including dismissal or expulsion.

The University will collect and expect payment from students for damage done to University property. The University will assist, but does not assume responsibility for collecting payment on behalf of a student for damage done to the personal property of that student by another student.

Accidental or unintentional damage to property is inevitable and unavoidable at times. When it occurs, it will be recognized as such and the responsible individual will be billed simply for the replacement or repair cost.
