E-mail and Websites


Student organizations can request an organization-specific e-mail account through the Office of Student Activities & Facilities. Other accounts through private or commercial e-mail providers are prohibited without the explicit permission of the Office of Student Activities & Facilities. Student organizations can request broadcast announcements or e-mail messages to students and/or faculty and staff, in accordance with University policy.

Student organizations can request a presence on the University website and space on University web servers. Such websites must be managed through the Office of Student Activities & Facilities, with assistance from the Office of Public Relations and Office of Computing & Network Services. Organizations may not have a web presence on any other private or commercial web servers without the explicit permission of the Office of Student Activities & Facilities.
