Misconduct and Disciplinary Actions

Student organizations must comply with any and all relevant University policies and procedures. For actions in violation of these policies and procedures, individual club officers or members are subject to the student conduct process, and the organization may be subject to disciplinary action, including but not limited to the following:

Probation: Probation results in limits being placed on an organization's activities for a period of time. Such limits may be financial or restrict the type of event or use of University resources.

Suspension of Recognition:  This is an interruption in the recognition of the organization by the University for a period of time of not less than one traditional semester. Under suspension, the organization must cease all activities, including the recruitment of new members.

Termination of Recognition: Termination permanently restricts the student organization from all activities and functions at the University. The organization can never reconstitute itself in the future.
