Maintenance Requests
All non-emergency requests for maintenance (e.g., light bulbs, broken items, computer connections, cable television, telephone service, etc.) should be reported to the Resident Assistant (RA) for the floor, the Area Coordinator, or the Office of Residence Life. The office will request the appropriate action from the respective office responsible for each type of repair. Students are asked not to contact the Office of Campus Operations (maintenance and custodial services), Office of Computing & Network Services, or the Media Center directly, as these offices are responsible for providing services to the entire University and rely on the Office of Residence Life to coordinate and prioritize any requests for service in the student residences.
Emergency requests during normal business hours should be directed to the Office of Residence Life (ext. 4215), and emergencies after hours, during the night, or on the weekends should be directed to the Department of Public Safety (ext. 4090). |
