Fairfield University provides medical, health, and counseling services to students. The Student Health Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session, with modified hours during other periods of the year.

The Department of Public Safety, located in Loyola Hall, is responsible for personal safety, investigations, emergency medical care, and traffic/parking enforcement.
