Advanced Readings in Ancient Greek: Thucydides

This course will provide advanced students with the opportunity to further their study of the Ancient Greek language through direct reading of primary sources. Students will be required to translate two complete books of Thucydides. Attention will be paid to both the language and the historical content of the texts.

Requirements: Two years of University level Ancient Greek
