Adobe Photoshop is the leading software for photographers, graphic designers, and book makers. Photoshop is powerful software, requiring a dedicated focus to learn how best to use the full potential of this program. This course, with the guidance of experienced teachers, will introduce the student to a deeper understanding of the creative and professional issues of Photoshop. This course is conceived for those students who already have experience in the photographic or graphic design world, as well as architecture, illustration and bookmaking. A constant interaction with the Instructor as well as with the class will be necessary to create a positive and stimulating environment. The Photoshop Laboratory is equipped with the most updated computers and peripherals. Prerequisites: Photography 1, Intro to Graphic Design or equivalents. A digital camera of at least 2.0 mega pixels or a traditional 35mm camera is required. A lab fee will also be required for this course.
